Nexus between Governance Indicators & Sustainable Stock Market Development in Pakistan: Evidences from Symmetric and Asymmetric Analysis

چکیده
The hidden non-linear association between governance indicators & stock market development (SMD) of Pakistan has been scrutinized in this study by using two comparative co-integrating techniques known as ARDL (Auto-regressive Distributed Lag) NARDL (Non-linear ARDL). Empirical evidence suggests that misrepresented inferences arise ignoring non-linearity nexus the variables. results indicate political stability absence violence/terrorism does not impact directly SMD Pakistan. Voice accountability positively and significantly SMD, but rule law directly. regulatory quality is highly significant negatively impacts SMD. Contrarily, frame indicates differences amid coefficients components index, denoting asymmetric links Positive Negative sums partial decompositions Rule Law, Regulatory Quality, Political Stability Absence Violence/Terrorism (PS&AVT), Accountability (V&A) multipliers PS&AVT a negative impact, while V&A positive on all variables except V&A. diagnostics extricate precariousness policy moratorium. This will add credence to predictive power towards incorporating decomposed multipliers.

متن کاملStock Market Interactions between the BRICS and the United States: Evidence from Asymmetric Granger Causality Tests in the Frequency Domain
The interaction of BRICS stock markets with the United States is studied using an asymmetric Granger causality test based on the frequency domain. This type of analysis allows for both positive and negative shocks over different horizons. There is a clear bivariate causality that runs both ways between the United States stock market and the respective BRICS markets. In addition, both negative a...
